Below you’ll find recent content focused on destinations in Tennessee that I’ve personally traveled to. These blog posts are solely to benefit anyone looking for an outdoorsy trip in Tennessee filled with adventures that will have you wanting to go back for more.
Traveling in Tennessee is truly a one of a kind experience. You’re able to find some of the most serene locations surrounded by mountains and trees almost anywhere you go. Growing up one of my favorite things about the smokies was listening to the cicadas in the Summer. You can always trust that there will be some sort of bug or creature serenading you at all times. You’ll occasionally run into wildlife as well being as this is their home, but don’t worry most are either completely harmless or are accustomed to seeing humans in their territory.
You are also centrally located for the most part, meaning you can have a full day exploring but still be within driving distance of somewhere to grab dinner. That being said, some of these locations are more rural, meaning you may want to invest in a portable cooler or plan for a grocery trip. Being centrally located has it’s perks though. It’s easy to make any trip family friendly and have at least 1 activity everyone will love.
That being said, enjoy Tennessee’s beautiful wildlife and some of the countries most desired travel destinations. Start planning your bucket list trip to the Volunteer state today!
